Pet Portrait Order Form

Please use a separate order form for each portrait.

Thank you for your interest in my commissioned animal pawtraits.

I will outline here the process for commissioning a custom portrait.

Ideally I would be able to see the subject in person and take reference photographs.

I like to work in exquisite detail, therefore before I can accept a commission for a pet portrait from you I will need more than one good, CLEAR, SHARP photograph of your pet. The most important feature for me, are the eyes. A close up photo of the eyes are very helpful to me. With good photos I can capture that certain look in the eye that captures the very essence of your pets personality.

Send more than one GOOD CLEAR PHOTO of your pet – particularly one good one of the eyes. Make sure that your pet is the main focus, and comprises the majority of the size of the image.
Send your non refundable 50 % deposit and the please note that you are responsible for any shipping costs. This is non –refundable. I accept checks or money orders. Portraits will be dispatched upon receipt of the full balance of payment (including postage and packing).

To order a unique portrait send this completed form below. Along with the photo or photos of your pet (j.peg's if you have them) or arrange to send them by snail-mail along with your 50% deposit. All checks are to be made payable to the artist Jeannette Hay. I provide artwork mounted with high quality mounting board, unframed, as frames and glass are too easily damaged in transit.

With regards to professional photos: they must be accompanied by a copyright release from the photographer or studio that took them. All photos will be returned with the completed pet commission.

The artist retains all intellectual rights to the commissioned artwork.

If you do not have suitable photographs an appointment can be made for Jeannette to photograph your pet if you are within her Ontario area. A $50 service charge will be added.
