These horses usually stand 16 to 17 hands (64 to 68 inches, 163 to 173 cm) high . They are large as well as being strong and active. When crossed with the local mares who were small and tough and with the best thoroughbred Arabian, Hanoverian, and Trakehner bloodlines the large powerful Swedish Warmblood were created.
They are known to be active, strong and have easy, straight pace. I love their look and this fellow was fun to draw as he was so handsome
